Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Intakes.io uses cookies and similar technologies on the Intakes.io marketing website. It covers this site only. It does not describe cookies or tracking that may exist inside a law firm's own practice-management system, CRM, or the workflows we operate for a client.

Who this applies to

Intakes.io is a service that designs and operates intake and follow-up workflows for plaintiff law firms. This website is how firms learn about that service and request a strategy call. If you have questions about this policy, use the Contact page.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and scripts that recognize a browser across page views. Some are required for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used and connect a form submission to a later conversation.

Cookies we use

We do not run Google Analytics on this site. The cookies and similar technologies in use today fall into the groups below.

Strictly necessary

These make the website function. They include platform cookies set by Webflow to serve pages securely, and Cloudflare Turnstile on some Webflow forms, which helps us tell a person from automated abuse. The site cannot operate correctly without this group.

Analytics and communications

We load HubSpot on every page of this site. HubSpot sets cookies so we can see which pages were visited, recognize a returning browser, and connect a Contact or Get started form to a strategy-call conversation. Typical HubSpot cookies include:

NamePurposeTypical life
__hstcVisitor tracking across visits13 months
hubspotutkRecognizes a visitor so form submissions can be attributed13 months
__hsscTracks a single session30 minutes
__hssrcDetects a new browser sessionSession

HubSpot's own documentation describes these cookies in more detail. HubSpot processes this data as our service provider.

What we do not set

The visual background, link routing, and home-page name-and-email bar are first-party scripts. They do not set cookies. The home-page bar only sends the name and email you type to the Get started page.

Legal basis and consent

This site is aimed at law firms in Canada and the United States. We treat strictly necessary cookies as required to provide the website you asked for. HubSpot cookies help us run a B2B sales conversation after you visit or submit a form. If you do not want those cookies, you can block them in your browser before browsing, or contact us and ask us to delete a HubSpot record that is tied to you.

A cookie notice appears on the first visit. Accept, reject, or open Preferences. Footer Cookies Settings reopens those choices. HubSpot tracking loads only after you accept analytics and communications cookies.

How to control cookies

  • Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may break forms.
  • Use the Contact page if you want us to delete marketing records tied to your email.
  • HubSpot also provides visitor opt-out tools described in HubSpot's privacy materials.

Personal information

A cookie ID can be personal information under PIPEDA when it can be linked to you, especially after you submit a form with your name and email. We use that information to respond to firm inquiries. We do not sell website visitor lists.

Changes

If we add a new analytics or advertising cookie, we will update this page and the date at the top.

Contact

Questions about cookies on this website go through the same intake we use for every firm inquiry.

Cookie preferences

Essential cookies keep the site working. HubSpot tracking is optional and used only for analytics and follow-up on this marketing site.
